Cement and Clinker Storage Project

Whilst Mozambique has gone through some major difficulties in recent years, there is still a lot of opportunity. CSSI was recently involved in a particularly interesting project, where we advised the owner of a newly built cement and clinker storage plant which was suffering from some unique engineering and geotechnical issues. Some unique challenges to deal with included that the various role players in the construction of the plant was from different parts the globe with many different contracts and different legal systems applicable. Ultimately, CSSI assisted with having the matter resolved and the plant repaired without having to resort to arbitration and without costing the client a fortune.
